Current Position:

As of August 2017, a new chapter in my career began as the Vian High School’s FACS (Family & Consumer Sciences) Teacher and FCCLA Adviser (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.)

Go Wolverines!

Previous Position:

In January of 2006 I began my educational career as a teachers assistant with the Vian Middle School, under the direction of Dr. Carla Wortman.  Working with multiple teachers in their subject areas (math, science, English, reading, Special Education, etc.) With my college subject area in child development and FACS (“Home Ec.”) during that time, periodically, I enjoyed assisting, substituting, and interning for Vian’s long-time FACS teacher, Ms. Wilson.

By November of 2009 I had the opportunity to become the Vian Pre-K teacher for Vian Elementary!  I enjoyed my time teaching 4-5 year olds from 2009-2017.  I learned so much about being a teacher and a mother during my time in early childhood.  It will be fun and interesting to see my classroom children in high school someday!

Family Information:

I am a wife and mother of two children!

Personal Information:

Live, Love, FACS!
