About Me

Education

Educational History:

I have been a Vian Wolverine for all of my life. I graduated from Vian High School in May 1984. After high school, I went to college at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. I graduated from NSU in May 1989 with a BS in Education.

Degrees and Certifications:

I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Education and Science. My teaching certifications include; Early Childhood Education, Middle School Science, K-12 Health and Physical Education, and K-12 Special Education.

Current Position:

I began workintig at Vian in 1998. I have taught many different grade levels during that time, however, Kindergarten is my passion. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 13 years and I love it!!

Family Information:

I have five wonderful children and two amazing grandchildren. All five of my kids are proud Wolveines. My two oldest have graduated, my three youngest are currently 10th grade, 8th grade, and 5th grade.

We live in the country and have have three dogs, two cats, and a fish.

Personal Information:

I enjoy gardening, canning, spending time with my kids and grandkids.
