Cobee Cook-Cobb of the Vian FFA recently competed at the Northeast Area Sporting Clays contest in Coweta. The Oil Capital Gun Club was the host for this year's event where more than fifty area FFA shooting teams and over 200 individuals competed for the chance to qualify for the State Shoot to be held in Arcadia at the Oklahoma City Gun Club.

Cobee finished in second place overall, busting 19 out of a possible 20 skeet. Oklahoma FFA is divided into four areas and the top four placing individuals and teams from each area advance to the State Sporting Clays contest in Arcadia each fall.
