Speech Language Pathologist
I am a 2009 graduate of Sallisaw High School. In 2013, I earned my Bachelors degree in Speech Languaage Pathology from Northeastern State University. After receiving my Bachelors, I continued my education at NSU and obtained a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2015.

”The beatufiul thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.”-BB King
I am currently in my second year of being the Speech Pathologist at Vian. When I’m not providing therapy for my Head Start – Vian High School kids, you can find me in the classrooms helping out however I can. I truly believe that “If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”
Working at Vian is my FIRST grown up job and I truly can’t imagine being anything other than a Wolverine. I love what I do, who I work with and most importantly, your kids.
Throughout grad school, I did multiple internships and externships with Brushy Public Schools, Tulsa Public Schools, Owasso Public Schools and Brookhaven Mental Health Treatment Center.
I am an only child and grew up on a cattle ranch in Tamaha, Oklahoma. My dad and most of my family on that side are Vian alumni. Even though I went to Sallisaw, my blood definitely runs purple. My mom was a retired English teacher who shared her love of education, children and tacky holiday themed apparel with me. I have a 4-legged fur baby named Emmitt. He weighs ~100lbs and thinks he’s a lap dog. He is easily one of the most spoiled dogs around and I wouldn’t trade him for the world.
When I’m not hanging out with your kiddos at school, I enjoy traveling and taking spur of the moment vacations, playing co-ed softball, watching sports, going to church and spending time with my family and friends.
