Dr. Bryon Clark shared his vast knowledge and interest in bats with Vian’s 8th grade students. Dr. Clark is Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs – Student Learning and Accreditation — at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and a longtime biology professor. His study of bats has taken him across the United States and abroad. Dr. Clark’s presentation is the kick-off event for the students’ OETT grant project. The students will research and study bats and bat habitats as well as build bat houses to hang at the Sequoyah Wildlife Refuge.
