I currently teach High School Band (8th-12th grades), 7th grade band, 6th grade band, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grade elementary music.
Prior to teaching at Vian, I completed three teaching internships to fulfill my college requirements to teach. During my college experience, I was privileged to have an opportunity to participate in the NSU marching band, NSU concert band, NSU wind ensemble, NSU community orchestra, NSU jazz ensemble, NSU trumpet ensemble and a chamber music ensemble. During my time as a member of the NSU jazz ensemble, I had the opportunity to perform with professional musicians including: Bob Mintzer, Robin Eubanks, Mike Manieri, Paul Hanson and several others. I was also able to be part of a jazz recording session with professional jazz guitarist Henry Johnson.
