VIAN

When I began teaching at Vian Public School, I taught 6^th and 11^th grade Language Arts.  After two years of splitting time between middle school and high school, I began exclulsively teaching freshman English and senior English in the high school.  I  have been here for 13 years so far, and I love it!

My first teaching job was at Gans Public School where I taught 8^th -12^th grades and yearbook class.  After three years at Gans, I taught high school language arts at Central High School for 5 years before coming to Vian.

I have been married to Keith Stewart for 30 years, and we have 6 chidlren.  The oldest is 40 years old, and the youngest is twelve.  (I know!)  When our twelve year old son graduates, we will have had a child in Vian’s school system for 36 consective years!  

I am a big Elvis Presley fan.  I also pretty much love Toby Keith.  I like to make quilts, and I have my own photography business where I specialize in senior pictures.  I like Diet Pepsi.  A  LOT!
