Family Literacy Night is an annual event at Vian Elementary! It’s  not a carnival or a fundraiser, but a time for parents and kids to have some fun together at school while developing literacy skills.  Here are some of the things that you’ll experience at this year’s event:

• FREE Hot Dogs (while they last)

• 4th Grade Lemonade Stand ($.50 a cup to benefit a worthy cause)

• Book Fair in the Media Center

• Door Prizes

• Fun Activities All Over the Elementary

• Kickoff to the Summer Reading Incentive Program

• Student Work on Display

This has been a GREAT year at VES. Come to Literacy Night to celebrate your child’s success and start the summer off with a plan to keep on reading!
